Derry Township police said they do not know how badly the pedestrian was injured because they ran away after the crash.
A pedestrian was hit by car in Hershey Wednesday night in front of the Giant Center but ran away before officers could get to the scene, police said.
The crash happened at about 10:16 p.m. when the pedestrian ran across the multi-lane section of Park Boulevard, according to Garth Warner, Derry Township police chief. Warner said the pedestrian was hit by a vehicle headed south on Park Boulevard.
