In a discussion about his plans and final days in the White House with author, media executive, and evangelical leader Joel Rosenberg, Pence said he would look carefully at a calling to run, as he has in past political races.“For the last 20 years, my aspiration has been simply to respond to what we perceive to be God's calling in our life,” he said on the Rosenberg Report, one of Rosenberg’s outlets.

In the interview, Pence said he believes voters are thirsty for a more civil, old-school style of politics that he identifies with.
