Former Vice President Mike Pence said he won't endorse former President Donald Trump because he disagrees with him on the debt, abortion, and TikTok.
Pence noted that he was proud of his accomplishments as Trump’s vice president and the successes of their administration, but he claimed he could not support his old boss in November.
Mike Pence on Fox News: "It should come as no surprise that I will not be endorsing Donald Trump this year."Fox News. “During my presidential campaign, I made it clear there were profound differences between me and President Trump on a range of issues, and not just our differences on our constitutional duties that I exercised on Jan. 6. Donald Trump is pursuing and articulating an agenda that is at odds with the conservative agenda that we governed on during our four years.
Pence said some of the topics he separated from Trump on were his stance on the national debt, his recent reversal of a federal TikTok ban, and his refusal to make a strong stance on abortion. The former vice president’s decision not to endorse Trump makes him the most prominent Republican to do so.
