Dan Gleiter | [email protected] State trustees said Friday that the university’s new president Neeli Bendapudi will take office May 10, following a formal transition period that kicks off in March.
Trustees Chair Matt Schuyler spoke about the upcoming transition at the opening of Friday’s board meeting. “I know you will join me in giving the Bendapudi family a very warm welcome when they arrive in state college in March,” Schuyler said. “In the meantime we look forward to President Barron’s continued leadership throughout the final board meeting in May and commencement weekend thereafter.“
