Director Zack Snyder opens up about the studio notes he received from Warner on his original Justice League script. Snyder is one of the more unique creative minds when it comes to superhero movie adaptations, with the director often looking at new ways to handle DC's comic book stories when translating some of the most iconic comic book heroes from the page to the screen.
According to Snyder, following the bad reception to Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, Warner asked him to add more humor to Justice League. "People want funnier movies," said the executives to the director, with Snyder then revealing he had to go back with writing partner Chris Terrio and lighten up the movie's tone.
