Slugger Pete Alonso has taken to celebrating big Mets moments — and there have been quite a few in recent days — with a pelvic thrust.

“This is strange,” co-host Gregg Giannotti added. “Also, it’s not only that, you get Pete Alonso in the dugout who humps the railing when something goes well for the team when he’s in the dugout. He gets up there and just starts pounding the railing.”, it’s hardly the first time Alonso has used his hips for something other than bashing a home run — and based on how the Mets are streaking, it won’t be the last.

“They’ve started to win now with the humping,” Giannotti said. “So it’s gonna be a thing the rest of the year.”
