After a tense situation of violence, threats, and an act of heroism from a good Samaritan, is now resolved as a child and its mother are finally out of harm’s way.
Elizabeth Robertson/The Philadelphia Inquirer via APPolice have identified the man arrested for allegedly threatening to throw a baby off an overpass above Interstate 95 in Northeast Philadelphia., 35-year-old Raheem Murphy is facing a number of charges including aggravated assault, kidnapping, and endangering the welfare of children.
After she sprang into action without taking a second to think, it seems as though all King wanted to do was help. “She went behind him, he was shaking so he didn’t know she was in his pocket, and that’s when she grabbed the gun out of his pocket. That’s when she put it in her pocket,” King said.
