PHOENIX — Phoenix firefighters battled a first-alarm house fire at 19th Avenue and Dobbins Tuesday night, north of South Mountain.
Firefighters say they went defensive on the fire immediately because of the size of the blaze, and only battled it from the outside. Video in the player above shows heavy flames engulfing the home. So far no injuries have been reported. Firefighters believe the home was vacant at the time and was undergoing renovations.
