Phoenix police arrested a man suspected of strangling a woman who was found on a bus in the area of Baseline Road and 27th Avenue last week.

Police found the woman, Diane Craig, 41, on a bus near Baseline Road and 27th Avenue around 8 a.m. May 6. Police said Craig's body showed signs of strangulation and she was taken to a hospital where she died from her injuries.

Police said investigators were able to obtain enough evidence to identify 26-year-old Joshua Bagley as a suspect. Sgt. Vincent Cole, a department spokesperson, said police arrested Bagley Tuesday afternoon near 27th Avenue and Indian School Road after receiving reports of a suspicious person matching his description.
