Pittsburgh Steelers guard Isaac Seumalo could return against the Dallas Cowboys.
The Pittsburgh Steelers have plenty of positive injury news coming out of their 27-24 loss to the Indianapolis Colts. While the gut punch of losing James Daniels for the season is a huge blow, the Steelers could welcome back starting left guard Isaac Seumalo. Head coach Mike Tomlin said Seumalo was close a week ago, and this week against the Cowboys, he has a real shot at returning.
Running backs Jaylen Warren and Cordarrelle Patterson will have a chance to play, with their practice participation being the guide. The same goes with tight end MyCole Pruitt and quarterback Russell Wilson . Wilson will ramp up for more football activities this week and the Steelers will evaluate him after that, but they are preparing for Justin Fields to start once again.
Outside linebacker Alex Highsmith will not play once again. His replacement, outside linebacker Nick Herbig has an ankle injury and will be limited early in the week, but the Steelers expect him to play. The same goes for defensive lineman Keeanu Benton, who has a leg injury. However, the injury is not severe.
As for the rest of the team, the Steelers could also get some of their injured players off injured reserve.
