Planned Parenthood Votes launched its first campaign advertisement of the 2024 election season, highlighting the GOP candidates' views on abortion ahead of the first debate on Wednesday.
The super PAC arm of Planned Parenthood Federation of America aired the 48-second ad titled"receipts" on social media and streaming platforms.
The short video also includes truncated statements from former President Donald Trump, former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley, and Gov. Ron DeSantis communicating their anti-abortion views, but the clip does not highlight that none of them are confident about the ability to pass a national ban. "It's possible that we would endorse a candidate, but it's also possible that we won't, and we have a very bright line that hasn't changed and you must communicate your federal minimum standards," SBA President Marjorie Dannenfelser previously told reporters.
