The Plano Police Department is accepting registration for its 2022 Vacation Safety School.
The Plano Police Department is accepting registration for its 2022 Vacation Safety School, the department said inThrough the free program, elementary school children will learn about topics such as search and rescue dogs, police cars, gun safety and personal safety. There will also be a bike rodeo, fire station visit, 911 practice calls, information about basic first aid and more.
Students must be Plano residents to participate. Preference will be given to children who have not previously attended. Registration is accepted Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Plano Police Department’s facility at 7501-A Independence Parkway. The department will offer four separate one-week sessions during the summer. Thirty children, ages six to nine, will attend each session.
