Two men were shot and seriously wounded at a north Houston gas station Saturday night, according to Houston police.
The shooting took place at Jensen Gas & Food Taqueria Mi Princesita, 7626 Jensen Dr., around 11:30 p.m., Metro Video Services reported. After the two men pulled up to one of the gas station's pumps, someone ran up to them from behind a food truck that had been parked at the gas station, according to Houston police.
The person first shot the driver, then reached through the window of the car and shot the passenger as well, officials said. Despite being shot, the driver was able to drive away from the gas station and to a nearby Houston Fire Department station to seek help. Both men then were transported to the hospital where they last had been listed in serious condition. The identity of the shooter and his or her motive behind the shooting remained unknown as of Sunday, police said.
