Two people have been arrested in connection to a Valley Stream shooting where authorities say bullets were shot into a home, police say.At least three bullets left their mark on the Valley Stream home that is believed to be occupied at the time.According to court documents, Volant fired multiple rounds at a home with intent to cause serious physical injury.Authorities say the defendants were located on Ocean Avenue just up the block from where the shots were fired.
Some neighbors say while they notice the area slowly improving, they were not surprised about the shooting."When I read the complaint, I realized there was really nothing that connected her to the weapon that was the main charge," Mahler says.Volant is being held on $75,000 cash or $150,000 bond.
