Authorities said they have a number of people of interest in the stabbing death of a Detroit synagogue president killed at her home.
Samantha Woll, 40, was found dead outside her home Saturday morning. She led the Isaac Agree Downtown Synagogue, and was a campaign staffer for Attorney General Dana Nessel and former aide to Democratic Rep. Elissa Slotkin.
White assured the public is safe and confirmed that there was no evidence in stabbing that made them believe Woll's death was aMichigan state police and the FBI is assisting Detroit police in the ongoing investigation.Mourners noted the crowd was comprised of people belonging to many different religions, which friends and family said symbolized who Woll was. She was credited for her interfaith work, including by Muslim advocacy groups.
