Police say this woman broke into a car and stole items including bank information of several individuals.
DOTHAN, Ala. - A woman is in jail and facing charges of trafficking in stolen identities.
In a news release from Dothan Police Department, authorities said on July 4, Lacy Dawn Farmer, 19, of Dothan, was charged with one count of unlawful breaking and entering a motor vehicle. This happened in the 2700 block of Ross Clark Circle.As the investigation continued, it was discovered Farmer was in possession of banking information of several individuals, according to DPD.
Police then charged the Dothan teen with trafficking in stolen identities. Farmer was booked into the Houston County jail with a bond set at $30,000.
