A man was killed by Fairfax County police Thursday night in the McLean area after officers were called for a disturbance at a home, police officials said.
Few details were immediately available. According to a preliminary police account, officers went to a home in the 6900 block of Arbor Lane after a report of a man throwing objects outside. Police said a struggle ensued between the man and officers, and the man was shot.
