Police learned of a fourth victim hurt in a deadly shooting inside a Brooklyn apartment building after a woman checked herself into a New Jersey hospital to be treated for gunshot wounds.

Cops responded to East Flatbush on Saturday afternoon around 1:45 p.m. for reports of gunfire inside a four-story building off East 45th Street and Snyder Avenue.

Three victims were found at the scene with varying injuries and rushed to Kings County Hospital. A 39-year-old man, identified by police as Emmanuel Soray, died after being shot in the face. A 27-year-old woman shot in the chest was listed in critical condition and a second man was struck in the leg, but expected to survive.Hours later, authorities learned of a female victim who arrived at a hospital in Elizabeth, New Jersey, after being shot in the arm and buttocks, according to police.

Neighbors were alarmed to hear of the gun violence that transformed their block into a crime scene in the middle of the afternoon.
