A second person was injured in the shooting but has survived, Lancaster Bureau of Police said Monday.

29-year-old Luis Sanchez, who lived in Lancaster County,in the 100 block of South Prince Street, according to Lancaster Bureau of Police.

The second person shot survived, and was released from the hospital by mid-day Monday. Police said they are not releasing the person’s identity. Officers found both people with gunshot injuries at the scene, and both were transported to a hospital for treatment, police said. Sanchez died at the hospital.Police said there have been no arrests in the shooting as of Monday afternoon.

The investigation is ongoing, and police ask that anyone with information on the shooting contact officers at 717-735-3301.
