Police investigate shooting at Belmont Park [Breaking]
San Diego police were investigating reports of a shooting at Belmont Park in Mission Beach on Sunday night.
The gunfire at the amusement park on Mission Boulevard was reported about 7:30 p.m. No victims had turned up as of about 9 p.m., police said. When officers arrived, witnesses directed them to a vehicle, which officers stopped. A passenger ran from the vehicle, but officers caught up to him and detained him, police said.
Officers also ordered the driver and a second passenger to exit the vehicle, then detained them. A search of the vehicle turned up several guns, Officer John Buttle said.
