SAN ANTONIO — The search is on for multiple people after a shooting at an apartment complex on the north side, according to San Antonio Police.Police say it started when a group of adults were causing a scene at the apartment pool and began firing off a gun when management asked them to leave.
Shots were fired towards the entrance of the apartment complex before the shooter left in a car with two other people, according to SAPD. Police say during their investigation the car returned and driver took off when officials tried to stop them. SAPD's helicopter was launched and spotted the vehicle at a Whataburger parking lot on Evans Road. A new report says a gun was pointed at SAPD's helicopter by at least one person they were pursuing on Evans Road.
Three people were taken into custody but police say they are still searching for three suspects still on the run.
