Popular Round Top-based Mandito’s Tex-Mex could be opening a Katy location this winter....
a Katy location this winter. The restaurant recently filed the project with the Texas Department of Licensing and Registration to open its second Houston-area location.
The 4,629-square-foot cantina-style restaurant would be located at 9910 Gaston Road in the Stableside at Falcon Landing retail and dining center.with items like tacos, enchiladas, fajitas, carne asada, grilled seafood and plant-based entrees. Mandito’s also has an extensive custom cocktail menu, heavy with agave-based spirits with fresh juice and house-made syrups.The Katy location will be Mandito’s second foray into the Houston area. The company also has a location in Bellaire, which opened in April.
Although plans may be subject to change, the TDLR filing shows the Katy project has a construction start date of Sept. 1 and a completion date of Dec. 8.
