Popular Katy restaurant Local Table to open largest location yet in Cinco Ranch
, which serves American-style foods that are locally sourced, already has two restaurants in the Katy area. The first opened in 2016 at The Villagio Center.The concept for the restaurant, which also features a full bar, was conceived by the same family that created Hungry's Café and Bistro, a neighborhood bistro in the Rice Village and Memorial neighborhoods. Neima Sharifi operates the business with his brother, Shervin, and cousins, Ashkan Nowamooz, Arash Noamouz and Alex Nowamooz.
“Back in 2016, there was nothing like Local Table in the area, so we thought there was a growing need for this type of cuisine and experience,” Nowamooz said. “We were really embraced by Katy, and so we decided to focus on Katy for our flagship and be able to give Katy this amazing spot.”The flagship location is Local Table’s largest, featuring a 14,000-square-foot dining area with a private room and outdoor patio. The private room accommodates 65 seated guests and can be rented out for events.
“We’re known for having a very unique menu that can meet everybody’s needs,” Nowamooz said. “We have classic dishes, but we still have a very global influence.”
