Prada is exploring the jungle in a special installation inspired by wild nature, exclusively at select boutiques across the United States, and it’s certainly a spectacle worth seeing. Across the Prada Beverly Hills, New York Broadway and Miami Design District locations, the store mimics the flourishing luminosity of a green forest, a setting where men’s and women’s ready-to-wear, accessories and lifestyle products reside in place of animals.
The installation includes a multitude of backlit wallpapers as backgrounds showcasing altering natural landscapes—woods and leaves such as Alocasia, Monstera, Fig, and Fern—brought to life by a dashing neon Prada triangle in green and yellow. A fully constructed forest pavilion sits in the presentation’s center, where a green-painted metal mesh structure with oversized ‘leaves’ sits atop a green carpet floor and holds Prada’s latest designs.
