Staff Reports Houston Academy girls and boys soccer teams swept Northside Methodist Monday night in Class 1A-3A, Area 2 high school soccer action at the Westgate Soccer Complex.The matches were originally scheduled for Tuesday, but were moved up a night because of potential weather issues on Tuesday.
Houston Academy girls 1, Northside Methodist 0 : The Raiders and Knights battled to a scoreless tie through regulation before Maci Caldwell scored in overtime off an assist from Brinley Harrell to give Houston Academy the win.Houston Academy boys 9, Northside Methodist 1: Riggs Hickey had three goals and an assist and Nate Selig and Robert Egbert both had two goals each with Selig adding two assists in leading the Raider win.
