Carey and Harwick met in 2017, got engaged in 2018, but called it off a few months later. The day after Valentine’s Day, Harwick was found unresponsive below her third-story balcony in her Hollywood Hills home with injuries that the Los Angeles Police Department said were “consistent with a fall.” Her ex-boyfriend Gareth Pursehouse was arrested for her murder and posted $2 million bail on Tuesday, February 18, 2020.
