Taken during a vacation to Jordan, the image shows the Cambridges posing in a desert-esque landscape. The Duke and Duchess wear neutral olive tones, while Prince George is in a camouflage shirt. Meanwhile, Princess Charlotte and little Prince Louis wear cheerful blue checks. They all sit together on artisanal embroidered furniture as well as what appears to be a sheepskin rug.
"Delighted to share a new image of the family, which features on this year’s Christmas card," the Duke and Duchess of CambridgeJordan is an important place to the the family: in fact, Kate Middleton lived there for two years with her family as a child while her father, Michael, worked for British Airways. As a working royal, Prince William also visited the Middle Eastern country, which is part of the British Commonwealth, in 2018.
