Charlotte was not the only young royal to mark the Queen's love of horses at Monday's ceremony: Lady Louise Windsor, who is the eldest child of Prince Edward, wore a simple silver necklace with a horse pendant on it. Several royal family members chose to honour the occasion with pearls, a gem traditionally worn for periods of mourning.
Catherine, Princess of Wales, wore a four-row pearl choker and Bahrain Pearl Drop earrings to Monday's service. Both pieces belonged to the late monarch and were previously worn by the Prince of Wales' mother, Princess Diana. Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex, was pictured wearing a pair of diamond and pearl earrings that were gifted to her by the Queen in 2018.
