A Probate and Family Court judge who last week was ordered to be suspended without pay resigned from the bench on Monday.
Judge Paul Sushchyk's resignation letter to Gov. Charlie Baker says in its entirety,"Please be advised that, effective March 28, 2022, I hereby resign my office as an Associate Justice of the Probate and Family Court.
Sushchyk, a former Sterling police officer, Sterling selectman and New Hampshire state trooper who served in the U.S. Army Reserves, was nominated to the bench by Baker in January 2018 and unanimously confirmed by the Governor's Council that same month.
