The Arizona Department of Transportation has reopened the southbound I-17 on-ramp at Thunderbird Road and the frontage road to Sweetwater Avenue in Phoenix. The ramp and frontage road opened on Monday, Nov. 7, as part of the ongoing I-17 regional drainage system project between Dunlap Avenue and Greenway Road.Westbound Thunderbird Road will be closed between the northbound I-17 frontage road and Metro North Corporate Park fromDrivers can use 35th or 19th avenues to Cactus or Greenway roads.
