La actriz Michelle Yeoh fue propuesta el viernes como nueva integrante del Comité Olímpico Internacional.
La ganadora del premio de la Academia como mejor actriz este año por su participación en la película “Everything Everywhere All at Once”, fue una de las ocho candidatas a ser integrantes del COI y que seguramente serán aprobadas por sus próximos colegas durante la reunión del próximo mes en Mumbai, India.
También entre los miembros propuestos el viernes están la medallista olímpica Cecilia Tait, excongresista de Perú y que ganó plata en voleibol; así como Yael Arad, una empresaria israelí y comentarista deportiva que ganó plata en judo.
