Rage Against the Machine is pushing back the start of its tour. What does this mean for the two Oakland Arena dates?
Rage Against the Machine has once again postponed its upcoming tour, leaving Bay Area fans in limbo about when they might get to see the band in concert.
Rage was set to play two nights — April 26 and 28 — at Oakland Arena. But those shows are now being listed as “postponed” on the band’s website, with no rescheduled dates yet listed. Still, local fans have plenty of company in the Rage-show limbo, given that the Oakland gigs were among the many that were postponed with no rescheduled dates announced.
“Headline shows scheduled for March 31, 2022 through May 23, 2022 will be postponed and rescheduled. All tickets for the moved dates will be honored,” the band posted on Twitter.While no official reason was given for postponing the tour, the COVID-19 pandemic has certainly led many acts to rethink their 2022 travel plans.
