The voice recording can be heard on two of Bad Bunny’s hit songs: “Pa Ti” and “Dos Mil 16.”

Bad Bunny was the most-streamed artist on Spotify for the past three years and is set to headline the 2023 Coachella music festival next month.

Carliz De La Cruz Hernández claims that in 2015, prior to her split with Bad Bunny — whose real name is Benito Antonio Martinez Ocasio — and before his rise to international fame, she recorded the phrase "Bad Bunny baby" on her phone. "Thousands of people have commented directly on Carliz's social media networks, as well as every time she goes to a public place, about 'Bad Bunny, baby,'" thestates. "This has caused, and currently causes, de la Cruz to feel worried, anguished, intimidated, overwhelmed and anxious."
