Tampa Bay Rays manager Kevin Cash has stated that it is highly unlikely that Shane McClanahan will return in 2023 due to tightness in his left forearm. Cash also mentioned that options such as Tommy John surgery, flexor tendon surgery, and removal of loose bodies are being considered for the pitcher.
