Kyle Larson, who is also racing in the Indianapolis 500, is the favorite to win the Coca-Cola 600 at Charlotte Motor Speedway.
JON JOHNSON Adam Foster, who has spent the past four seasons leading the Zion Chapel baseball program, is taking over as the head baseball coach at Rehobeth High School.
“I had a friend reach out to me and told me I would be a good fit,” Foster said in becoming interested in the job. “You look at Rehobeth and they are moving up to 6A and it’s a great opportunity. They are a rich baseball program, so I took the chance to go down there and get an interview and was excited about it.
“You know, once you get in this profession, it’s not about the money. You’re trying to make these young men into better people, and of course better ball players. In this profession you make really good relationships and you care for these guys. I’m just hoping once I get down there to Rehobeth that I’m able to create the relationships with them really quickly.”
His first teaching job came at Dauphin Junior High in Enterprise, where he spent three years, which included helping coach the Enterprise High baseball programs.
