A lot of people refer to it as the “Egyptian Temple” -- it’s definitely a downtown landmark. Now up for sale -- it can be yours for $7.5-million. FOX 10 News got a tour of the inside “The Temple Downtown” -- and as we found out there’s a lot of hidden surprises in this historic gem.

“This is where the movie projectors were. They’d set up the projectors and do movies in the auditorium with a big crowd in there. It did double duty back in the day,” explained Gonzalez.“When I bought the building they gave me a wad of keys,” said Gonzalez.“One day I finally got to this closet over here -- it was boarded in and I finally got the key that fit it and I opened it up and there was this spiral staircase.
“All of this right here... This was the old access. They would have dropped coal down here from the street access. We are under the sidewalk -- we’re in a vault. Lee: This is so cool. You would never know this,” said Olson.“So this floor just kind of wraps around the outside of it -- because the auditorium goes up two stories,” said Gonzalez.“This is the Red Lodge, which is where the masons would have their meetings,” explained Gonzalez.
