Rep. James Clyburn said Sunday he expects the U.S. will respond positively to President Biden's candidacy despite staggering poll numbers showing Americans' dissatisfaction.
President Joe Biden argued that he inherited high inflation despite it only being 1.4 percent when he entered office and rose to a 40 year high of 9.2 percent in 2022.
"I will say, as he often says, don't compare him to the Almighty, compared him to the alternative. And that's what you do when you get into a campaign," Clyburn said on MSNBC's"The Sunday Show."
