Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee announces she plans to enter the crowed race to be the next mayor of Houston.
first reported that Jackson Lee made the announcement while speaking at City Cathedral Church in Houston.
"Sheila Jackson Lee wants to come home to be your mayor for the city of Houston. I will not be able to do it without each and every one of you,” said in aHuston’s current mayor, Sylvester Turner, is termed out.
