Kridel retired from WBBM in 2019 after 34 years as a news anchor at the station, where she was known most for her work anchoring the “Noon Business Hour” program and for serving as an afternoon drive anchor.Kridel paid $700,000 for the condo in 2005. She first listed it on Feb. 9 for that same amount, and she went under contract to sell it just four days later.
The 42-story Bristol building was constructed in 2000. A corner unit, Kridel’s former condo has 2½ bathrooms, a kitchen with newer stainless steel appliances, a living/dining room with floor-to-ceiling windows, north and west views, a primary bedroom suite with a dual vanity and a walk-in closet, and another bedroom with an organized closet.Listing agent Katie Hogan declined to comment on the sale or on where Kridel is headed.Bob Goldsborough is a freelance reporter.
