The FBI and the US Marshals are offering a total of $20,000 as a reward for information that could lead to the arrest of Roy McGrath, the ex-chief of staff for former Gov LarryHogan who failed to appear in court on charges of theft and fraud.

McGrath, 53, of Naples, Florida, was set to appear in court in Baltimore at 9:30 a.m. on March 13 for charges of alleged crimes that occurred during his time working for Hogan. After several hours of waiting, an arrest warrant was issued for McGrath. Both agencies are offering"up to $10,000 for information leading to the location, arrest, and prosecution of this individual."

McGrath is now regarded as a fugitive and"considered an international flight risk" despite having surrendered his passport as a condition of his pretrial release.Three days after he failed to appear in court, the FBI reportedly raided McGrath's Florida home in search of any evidence as to where he disappeared. McGrath's wife, Laura Bruner, and his attorney, Joseph Murtha, said McGrath's behavior was out of the ordinary, and both were unaware of his whereabouts.

In total, McGrath faces five counts of wire fraud, two counts of theft, and one count of falsifying a document. He was indicted on fraud and theft charges in October 2021 and falsification of documents charges in June 2022. He also faces separate charges for misconduct and wiretapping during his time with Hogan, for which he is supposed to be charged in July.
