Reward of $10 million offered in search for alleged Guatemalan cocaine kingpin [Breaking]
A reward of up to $10 million is being offered for information leading to the arrest of an alleged Guatemalan cocaine kingpin who has been indicted in San Diego, the Justice Department said Friday.
The Justice Department says Molina-López, 57, is a high-ranking leader of Los Huistas, a drug-trafficking organization based in the Huehuetenango region of northwest Guatemala that borders Mexico. The case is part of an operation dubbed “Operation Guerrilla,” which is targeting high-level cocaine traffickers operating in northwest Guatemala and their suppliers.
“We are working tirelessly to dismantle cartels by taking down the leaders, one by one,” Grossman said in a statement.
