WGAL NEWS EIGHT AT 11. NOW, NOW, THE WGAL NEWS EIGHT STORM TEAM FORECAST WITH METEOROLOGIST TJ SPRINGER. IT’S HARD TO BELIEVE TODAY IS OCTOBER 1ST AND WE CAN’T LOOK FORWARD AND WITHOUT LOOKING BACK. SO I WANTED TO RECOUNT WHAT WE WENT THROUGH DURING THE MONTH OF SEPTEMBER. HAD SOME HEAT, BUT WE ALSO HAD PLENTY OF RAIN. ANNE. WE’RE EXPECTING TEMPERATURES TO QUICKLY BECOME WARMER ONCE AGAIN. OUR AVERAGE TEMPERATURE IN SEPTEMBER WAS JUST OVER 69 DEGREES.
Our Sunday has been gorgeous throughout the Valley! Hopefully you've been able to get out and enjoy it. It's compliments of a ridge of high pressure that has been taking over behind the storm system that exited on Saturday. Overnight lows will be seasonable for this time of year, dipping back into the middle 50s to near 60. The quiet trend continues as we progress into the start of the workweek with even warmer conditions on the table.
