Chili, N.Y. — A Rochester Institute of Technology student has died after being injured in a crash Tuesday near the Frederick Douglass Greater Rochester International Airport.
Deputies responded to Scottsville Road near Airpark Drive just before 6:15 p.m. for a report of a crash involving a van and a motorcycle.Witnesses said Ethan Sulik-Doty, 22, of Whiting, Vermont, was northbound on Scottsville Road at a high rate of speed when his motorcycle struck the passenger side of a van that was turning left onto Airpark Drive.According to RIT, Sulik-Doty had been a student at the school since 2019 was working towards his master's degree in electrical engineering.
