Republican National Committee leadership is unimpressed with Rep. Madison Cawthorn's (R-NC) attempt to establish a 'Dark MAGA.'

"I don't know what 'Dark MAGA' is," McDaniel said, visibly amused."Sounds like a 'Star Wars' thing, like the dark side of the Force."McDaniel went on to say that the primary between Cawthorn and the primary winner, State Sen. Chuck Edwards, was"well-fought." She also praised Cawthorn for conceding his race and stressed how important it is that Republicans hold that district.

Cawthorn conceded his loss in North Carolina's 11th Congressional District on Tuesday. However, he did not stop campaigning or advocating for a MAGA-focused approach to Republican politics.
