Road rage suspect leads officers on pursuit to Orange County [Breaking]
A woman involved in what police described as a road rage incident in Clairemont led law enforcement on a pursuit to Orange County Monday evening, authorities said.
“The caller said that he honked his horn at her because she was at a high rate of speed, and she took offense to that and started following him,” Buttle said. California Highway Patrol officers took over the pursuit on northbound Interstate 5, and a San Diego County Sheriff’s Department helicopter was called in to assist, said sheriff’s Lt. Ryan Wisniewski.The vehicle was eventually disabled with a spike strip near the CHP Border Patrol checkpoint near the Orange County line, according to Wisniewski.
