The Dallas Stars began their push for the playoffs with a home win over the Nashville Predators.
Jason Robertson tipped in shots from John Klingberg twice on the power play, Luke Glendening scored the go-ahead goal early in the third period and the Dallas Stars beat the Nashville Predators 4-3 on Wednesday night.
The game was a makeup of one of the postponements from the league's COVID-19 pause in late December and early January. "I just get in front of the net," Robertson said. "I know he shoots the puck well. Just got to get a stick on it." The Stars beat one of the four teams ahead of them in the Central, and will face division-leading Colorado twice in this eight-game stretch. It ends with a visit to Nashville.
The Stars lost a challenge on Trinen's goal, so they spent most of the first two minutes of the third period killing the penalty for delay of game. The Predators didn't have any great chances on the power play.
