Roger Stone, a former adviser to Donald Trump, addresses reporters on Friday after his deposition before the House committee investigating the January 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol.The select committee said Stone was in Washington, D.C., on January 5 and 6 and was scheduled to speak at the"Stop the Steal" rally. Stone was ultimately not one of the 12 speakers for the event.
"We need to know who organized, planned, paid for, and received funds related to those events, as well as what communications organizers had with officials in the White House and Congress," Thompson said.
