Rolling Stones’ frontman Mick Jagger called out Louisiana Republican Gov. Jeff Landry while performing at the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival on Thursday.

Rolling Stones’ frontman Mick Jagger ignited a small feud between himself and the Louisiana governor on Thursday while performing in the state. The 80-year-old British singer and his band performed at the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival to a sold-out show. After finishing the song 'You Can’t Always Get What You Want,' Jagger called out Gov. Jeff Landry by name. 'We're a welcoming crowd, aren't we?' Jagger asked. 'I hope Mr. Landry is enjoying the show.

The BMI have notified the Trump campaign on behalf of the Stones that the unauthorized use of their songs will constitute a breach of its licensing agreement,' said the statement. 'If Donald Trump disregards the exclusion and persists then he would face a lawsuit for breaking the embargo and playing music that has not been licensed.'
