Summary The Fall Guy, inspired by the 1980s television series of the same name, follows a stuntman named Colt Seavers who is pulled back into Hollywood after stepping away due to a career-ending injury. But when he gets the chance to work with the one who got away, first-time director Jody Moreno , he jumps right back in. While working to win back her affection and pull off an impossible stunt, he also begins investigating the disappearance of the movie's lead, Tom Ryder .

Blunt shared how Leitch and McCormick, as a married couple and creative partners, were a huge inspiration for herself and Gosling on set. She also praised Leitch's skills as a director relaying how some of the most influential directors of our time have asked him how he pulled off certain shots and stunts.
