A South Carolina woman, Mary Wilson, is recovering after her left hand and wrist had to be amputated due to 'third-degree burns' she said she received after getting shocked by her blow dryer and falling on top of it.
"I on top of the dryer, like it was under me, and I was in a weird, contorted placement and the dryer was still running,” the woman recalledKimberlee Speakman is a digital writer at PEOPLE. “I’m still gonna live my life to the fullest. It’s just a hand.
